Dr. Bourget has a very diverse medical background, having experienced a mixture of surgical training and research at several well established institutions. She has received many honors and awards for her research and much of her efforts have been featured in major medical publications and seminars.

An important part of her training revolved around burn surgery and wound care. Little did she realize at the time how her extensive work in wound care would become an integral part of her practice later on. Consider that laser ablation and chemical peels are nothing more than a controlled burn of a superficial, partial thickness dermis and you realize how Dr. Bourget became impassioned with her interest in aesthetics. This previous experience has helped Dr. Bourget mold the aesthetic aspect of her practice in a different way than most practitioners. Finding the correct combination of dermal procedures and tissue regeneration products is a goal that she strives to achieve. Dr. Bourget is very excited about developing the concept of an ‘Aesthetic Wellness Center’ and feels it will be a professional and personal triumph if brought to fruition.

On a personal level, she has expressed herself as a competitive skier, surfer, swimmer, and equestrian. Her commitment to her profession and to her patients is rivaled only by her passion for living life to its fullest!
